Dunedin recreation cards: who qualifies for $10 rates and free veteran cards
City residency, unincorporated Pinellas addresses and military status affect the annual card price.

Dunedin residents considering recreation classes can buy an annual recreation card for $10. The card discounts most programs, but the resident rate depends on living within city limits on a continual basis for at least four months.
People living in unincorporated Pinellas County pay $56 a year. Other nonresidents pay $90 for a year or $56 for six months. Active U.S. military members and veterans can receive a free card by providing proof of status and completing the required paperwork.
Cards are sold at the Dunedin Community Center, Hale Senior Activity Center and MLK Jr. Recreation Center. Some programs require a valid card throughout the activity, so check the expiration date before enrolling. Card prices cover membership; individual classes can still have registration fees.
